1. Do this finger play with younger children.

Here Is The Church
Here is the church,
(Interlock your last three fingers pointing down and say this.)
And here is the steeple.
(Your pointer fingers are the steeple. Have them pointing upward when you say this.)
Open the doors
(Your thumbs are the doors, move them like they are opening when you say this.)
And see all the people.
(Move your six fingers when you say this.)
Close the doors and hear them pray.
Open the door and they all walk away.
(Unclasp your hands as if they are walking away.)

2. Talk about the Sabbath.

What do we do on Sunday?
(We go to church, read the scriptures, pray at church, etc.)

Do we talk quietly or scream at church?
(We are in Heavenly Father's house so we need to be quiet and listen to what our teachers have to say to us.)

Do we walk or run at church?
(We need to walk in Heavenly Father's house.)

You can have your children color some pictures found at Christy's Primary Art.  For example, a picture of a Ward Building, or a Girl or Boy Praying, etc.
