Sloppy Meat

1 pound ground beef or 3 cups beef, chicken, turkey, or pork
1/4 teaspoon oregano
3/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon whole basil
2 tablespoons sugar
1-8 ounce can tomato sauce
Acceptable buns or rolls if your diet is dairy-free and/or gluten-free

If using ground beef, brown meat in frying pan.  Remove excess fat.   If using other meats,
cook and cut up into small pieces.  In a pan, combine oregano, seasoning salt, basil, sugar,
and tomato sauce.  Mix.  Add meat and let simmer until sauce has almost completly evaporated.
Serve on buns or rolls.

You can use less meat and put it on rice instead of bread.
