Log Log Duplex Decitrig - Model 4081 (Mahogany)

K+E 4081-3 Log Log Duplex Decitrig, Complete, used set. Mahogany and celluloid, with brown leather case, and 126-page, softcover K+E manual. Rule and case in excellent condition. Case is embossed with former owne's name. $195.

Polyphase Duplex - Model 4088

K+E 4088-1S Polyphase Duplex 5-inch Slide Rule. Brown leather, chamois-lined case. Half-size version of below. A very rare slide rule; K+E stopped making their 5-inch rules out of mahogany in the 40's, as soon as there was a viable alternative material. Leather case is worn. Celluloid has aged into an uneven coloration. Glass and celluloid cursor is in excellent condition. This rule was well-used but well taken care, too. $345. K+E 4088-3S Polyphase Duplex 10-inch Slide Rule. The one is in good shape except for some scratches where someone inscribed their initials. The photo is of an identical rule in slightly better condition. The case of this particualr rule is quite worn. (Sold).

Keuffel & Esser 4080-3 Log Log Trig Duplex- A really beautiful old slide rule that's in excellent condition. No sign of the "K+E Rotting Cursor Syndrome" that afflicts many of the rules of this period whose cursor guides are disintegrating due to the poor aging characteristics of cellulose nitrate. (Sold).

K+E 4083-3 Log Log Duplex Vector Slide Rule Set. Complete set includes mahogany and celluloid slide rule with hyperbolic (vector) scales, tan, chamois-lined leather case, 126-page, softcover K+E manual and 37-page supplementary manual for the hyperbolic functions. Rule is in excellent condition, case exhibits some expected wear. (Sold).

Bargain Deci-Lon - Not all of the slide rules we encounter were left on the shelf to collect dust but no wear. This specimen saw a little action. It's still quite usable - just a few dings on the case - the rule will need cleaning - the cursor spring will need adjustment (the cursor slides too easily) - and there's some light etchings on the end bars. But it's a perfectly good Deci-Lon and, after a little TLC, will be ready for some serious calculating. $195.

Considerably rarer than it's big brother, the Pocket Deci-Lon competed unsuccessfully with the HP 35, in spite of 26 scales of compact computing power. Near-mint condition. Case exhibits some wear but looks great and is in near-new structural condition. No names or other markings. Includes 186-page, hardbound manual, K+E Deci-Lon Slide Rules. Dietzgen Decimal Trig Type Log Log Microglide, Cat. No. 1734 Dietzgen 1734 Decimal Trig Type Log Log Microglide - A nice example of Dietzgen's most popular model. Mahogany construction, Teflon slide guides, cursor guides are black resin with white "DIETZGEN" embossed on both edges. An excellent calculating tool. You will find yourself calculating things because its enjoyable! (Is that a desirable state of affairs? If you've read this far, you might think so!) The rule is in excellent condition. No marks anywhere. With leather case and plastic Dietzgen Slide Rule Conversion Tables insert (slips into case with rule). $385. Dietzgen 1735 Vector Type Log Log - An earlier vintage of the Vector Type. With the same scales as the N1725 except for K, DI and the two T scales are combined into one. Tan leather case. Dietzgen Decimal Trig Type Log Log Cat No. 1734 in Bamboo- The Dietzgen Decimal Trig Type Log Log scale arrangement on bamboo - the best of both worlds. Tan leather case. $195. Dietzgen 1746 Maniphase Multiplex , excellent cond. This is a handsome 10" duplex in creamy celluloid with beautiful, exposed mahogany edges. $125. Dietzgen 1776 Redi-Rule. Five inch rule with very nice leather case with pocket clip. Scales are (front) DF, CF, CIF, CI, C, D, L, (back) K, A, B, T, ST, S, D, DI. $85. Dietzgen Belt Attachment kit for ten-inch rules. Works with most cases of most brands that have a flap that is a separate piece (thin stainless clip is 0.8" wide and slips between flap and body on case back. Then strip of spring steel is slid into clip end to hold in place. No ring is required on case.) Includes brown leather strap with snap to attach to belt and heavy-duty clip that attaches to part connected to case. Will work with just about any Dietzgen or K+E 10" case. $36. Dietzgen Map Measuring Tool Cat No. 1718.. Very nicely made by miniature Swiss people. Comes in original box. $68. Dietzgen The Use and Care of Drawing Instruments. Comprehensive manual covers techniques of precision drawing and care of Dietzgen drawing instrument. Quality Used Perrygraf! Perrygraf 15" Circular Slide Rule. "Anyone can use it! No training needed!" reads the claim. 9-scale, cardboard, duplex circular slide rule is in good condition. Scales on front are: C, D, CI, A, K, L. The back is devoted to three scales for the conversion of units to fractional and decimal values. Rather clever. Instructions are printed on the rule. $39.
